Job description

Our client is a modern and successful firm of accountants based in superb offices and offering a varied Accounts Senior job.
Applicants must have proven experience gained from working in a firm of accountants. The successful may be AAT or ACCA / ACA qualified, studying or qualified by their experience.
Applicants with experience of Sage & IRIS will be at an advantage and the position will focus on the preparation of statutory and monthly and quarterly management accounts for clients of the firm. There may be some assistance on audits but this will be a smaller part of the job.

The successful applicant will be expected to work well with clients and colleagues and provide training and support to junior staff when required. Knowledge of personal & corporate tax plus VAT will be useful although there will be limited involvement in tax work.

The job can be fitted around the successful applicant within reason and may include some managerial aspects. Progression can be offered for an ambitious applicant.
