Birmingham Forward Bank of England Presentation

McLaren Building, 46 The Priory Queensway, Birmingham, B4 7LF

As proud patrons of Birmingham Forward, Blusource is delighted to invite you to the annual presentation by Graeme Chaplin, the Bank of England’s Agent for the West Midlands.

This event has been a sell-out for two year’s running and once again the timing coincides with the publication of the Bank of England’s Quarterly Inflation Report, making it a ‘must attend’ on the Forward and Future calendar.

Agents for the Bank of England are based in every region, with the primary role being to assess economic conditions affecting businesses in their area. Each month a series of discussions are held with individual businesses, organisations and groups to assess business conditions. The Agents are the Bank’s ‘eyes and ears’, providing information about trends and developments across the economy, which are fed into the Monetary Policy Committee.

Graeme will give a fascinating talk about the state of the national economy, prospects and challenges for the future, and inflation and unemployment outlooks. He will cover economic matters relating to local, national and international businesses, as well as inflation, consumer spending trends and interest rate predictions.

We anticipate very high demand for this event, so please book early as places are limited.
This event is kindly hosted and sponsored by Bruntwood, developer of The McLaren Building.
