Friday 13th Football Tournament

Friday 13th Networking Club takes over the East Midlands Inter-firm Football Knockout Tournament, previously held by Greg Emmerson when at Raynorwest. It is open to Bankers, Lawyers and Accountants to compete for the Friday 13th Championship trophy!

Greg Emmerson has joined forces with Friday 13th to host the return of his 5-a-side football tournament, previously held with Raynorwest before the Blusource / Raynorwest Merger in 2011.

Greg has told us all about the success of previous events and we are keen to continue this under Blusource’s networking group, Friday 13^th.

Now we'd like to raise the profile of the event and make this year's event better and bigger by opening it up to all our members and their football loving colleagues. If you can’t make up a full team, you are welcome to join with other firms to pull together 5 players. Substitutes are welcome and can be revolved during matches.

A new Friday 13^th trophy is up for grabs and the tournament will be held at a fantastic new location in Arnold, Nottingham (http://www.playfootball.net/nottingham/) where there are excellent changing facilities, professional pitches and a licensed bar are available with PINTS ONLY £1.50!!

So all you East Midlands bankers, lawyers and accountants - get together with your colleagues to enter your company teams into the Friday 13^th Championship!

There will be leagues of teams followed by knock out stages and a final. We will be setting up the tournament to maximise playing time. Players must work at your firm, no “ringers” allowed! Regular 5-a-siders and enthusiastic amateurs are welcome.

Time: 6:30pm-finish (approx 10pm)

Cost: It is free to enter your firm team of 5 + subs. However the event is run as a fundraiser for our chosen charity, Childline and we would appreciate donations for this. We suggest £10 per team but whatever you would like to give is fine. Please bring cheques or cash on the evening to give to Alice White, Friday 13th Club organiser.
