Friday 13th Network hold winning hand for East Midlands Professionals

Since its initial launch in Nottingham on Friday November 13th 2009, the business network club of the same name has amassed nearly 200 like-minded members with over 70 meeting recently (Tuesday 9th February) for the first get together of 2010.

 

Following a drinks reception at the HQ of sponsor Blusource Professional Services in Clarendon Street, Friday 13th members and guests made their way to Tonic on Chapel Bar for further networking and a Texas Hold’Em Poker Tournament.

 

With six poker tables in full swing, the competition was skilful and tense, with participants playing intently and hoping Lady Luck was on their side. However, there was only one overall winner, Deborah Manzoori from Deloitte LLP, who was pronounced champion on the night.

 

A great time was had by all, with rumours that many of the die-hards made a real evening of it and lots of members catching up via email and Linkedin the next day.
